8+ years — shipping backend systems since 2018
Eight years, four industries.
Payments, edtech, games and travel distribution — the constants are Go, microservices, and systems that need to be right at scale.
Rakuten Travel Xchange
Software Engineer
Singapore
Part of Rakuten Group- →Led the hotel connection platform serving 10,000+ hotels through third-party APIs.
- →Cut operational costs and improved search speed via database partitioning and query optimization.
- →Built and maintained public APIs for multiple hotel booking distributors.
- →Implemented system monitoring with Prometheus and OpenTelemetry.
- →Restructured databases to reduce storage footprint and query latency.
- →Refactored a JavaScript FastAPI backend into a Go RESTful service.
Ruangguru
Software Engineer

Leading Indonesian EdTech- →Developed REST APIs in Go and Python for the educational platform.
- →Built a video transcoding pipeline in Go serving thousands of concurrent users.
- →Scripted game packaging: Unity3D + VM + Golang + ffmpeg, with size bootstraping via AWS S3.
- →Created C# Unity extensions for game generation and content upload.
- →Built the backend service handling Google Sheets add-on input for game data.
- →Maintained video service and transcoder in Go and Python; deployed services across Kubernetes namespaces.

Indonesian Fintech- →Built microservice REST APIs and messaging queues in Go for financial transaction processing.
- →Developed token generator-validator and RSA signature generator-validator services.
- →Built data validator, data routing, and store-and-forward file backup services.
- →Added in-application data caching to improve performance.
- →Dockerized services and supported CI/CD pipelines.

Banking settlement & MRT Jakarta- →Built transaction processing applications for middle-end and back-end systems.
- →Delivered settlement systems for BNI, BRI, BCA, and Mandiri (Java).
- →Created the full payment infrastructure for MRT Jakarta in Go — FFS, SDDC, RFClient, RFServer, DB-Processor — using socket and binary payloads.
- →Built the orchestrator routing transactions between channel and payment teams (Unified Payment).
- →Implemented e-parking (on/off-street) and toll payment processing on PostgreSQL.
Telemetry
Prometheus, Grafana, OpenTelemetry — monitoring as a first-class citizen, not an afterthought.

I build backend systems that quietly carry the hard parts — payments, video, games, bookings.
Backend engineer since 2018. Started in Java, found Go along the way, and never looked back. I design microservice systems focused on content platforms — video streaming delivery and game delivery — using Go, C# and cloud services on AWS and GCP.
The through-line of my career is transactional scale: settlement systems for Indonesia's biggest banks, payment infrastructure for MRT Jakarta, a video transcoding pipeline for millions of students, and a hotel platform connecting 10,000+ properties.
When it's not about throughput, it's about observability — Prometheus, OpenTelemetry, and making failures visible before users feel them.
